A year has gone by
But I still remember the Black Day
As clear as it was just yesterday.
The memories are sour
That has taught lesson for life
For when misfortune knocks the door
The forbidden apple is also eaten
Defying God's proclamation
Creating unrest.
What remains is the guilt
For which the onus I owe.
Even the mighty Icarus
Could not reach the sun
And burnt its feathers
While I am just a commoner
Learning from my follies
But still aiming high
To prove
That I am
A Learner
And a Dreamer.
