DESIRE

Some desires in me surge high

Leaving me restless and impatient

Some desires make me strong

For I have a long journey to go

Some desires bring out the child in me

Making me excited and curious

And as I dream to realise them

I feel a thunder of thrill

Both of excitement and nervousness

Leaving me jumpy.

My yearning to achieve

What I desire

Is the only catalyst

To sustain me through all ambiguity.
