Until the dawn, I saw world with open eyes,
But as the sun rose up, the vision seemed blurred.
I tried hard to see the real world with naked eyes,
But could see hazy morning hues.
And then it struck me to pull out my glasses,
But I was aghast to see the unclouded sky.
Black and blue like a demonic night,
Stains of red covering the landscape.
The serenity had vanished,
And the calmness had turned into shrieks and cries.
The purity of immortals was lost,
And the flag of anarchy was fluttering high.
I closed my eyes in a wink of a moment,
To recall the beauty that He bestowed.
But the dawn once gone returns only after the dusk,
And who knows the colours of the dusk,
for it may be even more horrifying.
